Terms and Conditions

Thank you for joining us at Kaliedoscope Dance.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. Upon enrolling into classes at Kaliedoscope Dance a legally binding agreement is formed and your (or your child’s) attendance at our classes will be strictly subject to full cooperation with these terms.

All pupils must complete a registration form and must receive notification of a place before any classes are attended. By signing the registration form, the parent/guardian has agreed that they have read the Kaliedoscope Dance Terms and Conditions and associated Policies.

Please note that if any parent or student is in material or persistent breach of any of these terms and conditions, we reserve the right immediately to terminate the contract with you and/or exclude your child from attending further classes and no refund will be given.

Fees
Termly fees must be paid in full before your/ your dancers first class of the term. No refund will be given unless there is a long-standing illness, when a doctor’s certificate is required.

Our terms typically follow the school terms which are split into three throughout the year. These are usually, but not defined as January to March, April to July and September to December.

Emails are sent out with actual dates that notice needs to be given by.

Class Booking, Fees and Payment
Classes must be booked and paid for by you on a termly basis in advance with the exception of our adult classes which can be weekly payments and Zumbini which can be half-termly.

All fees remain payable whether or not you/ your child attends the classes. There are no reductions or refunds for missed classes under any circumstances. A refund will not be provided if classes have to be cancelled due to an event beyond our reasonable control.

Please note that all “Class Fees” and “Additional Fees” (as defined below) are subject to change at any time on a term by term basis. Up to date fees will be published on the Kaliedoscope Dance website at www.kaliedoscopedance.co.uk and are also available upon request.

In addition to class fees, the following additional fees (“Additional Fees”) shall also be payable by you to the extent applicable:

Annual show participation fees. Performance in the annual show is optional and participation will incur additional costs.

Workshops. We offer workshops every holiday, including half terms. Workshops are optional and participation will incur additional costs.

Leaving Kaliedoscope and Cancellations
If you decide to leave Kaliedoscope, half a term’s notice must be given within the first half of the current term to avoid paying full term fees for the next term.

For the avoidance of doubt: there is no right to withdraw or change classes midway through a term.

Requests for changes to class schedules or levels may be made but remain entirely at our discretion and no change can be guaranteed.

If you wish to make a request in advance for preferred class(es) (at the existing or at the next level) for the next term, you should aim to give us a minimum of half a term’s notice (with the request being received in writing by email to the following email address: [email protected]. Where we envisage a change to schedule or the relevant stage/level for your child, we will discuss this with you in advance.
